Warm Wishes | Lawn Fawn

Today I'm sharing a card featuring some Lawn Fawn products that I finally inked up!  My card starts with a Scalloped Rectangle panel of Snow Day Remix.

I layered a Stitched Mountain Border cut from packing paper and topped with their coordinating snow caps.  The stitched Pond is also cut from the Snow Day Remix.

I managed to combined:

Snow Bunnies for Simon Says Stamp
Mice on Ice
Believe in Yourself
Thanks a Latte [sentiment]

That Jackalope kills me.  Love all those critters!

Stay Cozy | Color Throwdown Designer

Hello!  I'm super excited to be the December Guest Designer for the Color Throwdown!  If you've been following me for any amount of time, you know that I LOVE this challenge.  Check out this week's awesome color challenge:

Turquoise | Green | Gold | White

Here's how I was inspired:

I'm shaking things up with some sets from Ellen Hutson LLC!  I started off with the Alpine Window by Julie Ebersole for Essentials by Ellen.  I love that the images can easily be layered.  I decided to just color the trees and add a bit of gold glitter cardstock to back the windows of the cabin.

I first started off with my Iced Aqua panel and die cut the circle.  I adhered a panel of acetate behind it and then layered my Alpine Window panels.  I should have then stamped my sentiment but got carried away with my foam adhesive and shaker contents.

I knew better than to try to either peel off all the foam adhesive on the back or to try to even think of stamping my sentiment directly on the Iced Aqua panel.  So I ended up finishing off my card with the Stay Cozy sentiment heat embossed in gold on a white strip!  It is from the Over the River by Julie Ebersole for Essentials by Ellen.

I can't wait to see how the Color Throwdown team was inspired:

Hi | Spellbinders

I was honored when Spellbinders asked if I wanted to help celebrate their Die D-Lites!

Today I'm featuring:

Here's how I was inspired:

The Die D-Lites Floral Hi is gorgeous.  I decided to cut it from an aqua panel to match my card base.

The second layer is a sweet red + white gingham.  I cut the Hi from the same pattern.

One of my favorite color combos is red + aqua so this is right up my alley.

Thank You | Reverse Confetti

I'm so excited to be sharing my project designed especially for the December Stock Your Stash Challenge!  Here's how I was inspired:

I combined The Best Days and Thank You sets.  The bouquet from The Best Days is gorgeous.  Today I've colored it with alcohol markers.  I finished it off with a white gel pen for the center detailing.  The Thank You set is a must have, great sentiments and I'm always a fan of mixed fonts.

I had the Distress Oxide panel from an earlier project.  I'm glad I saved it because it was the color inspiration for today's card.   I used the following Distress Oxide trio:

Shabby Shutters | Peacock Feathers | Faded Jeans

I've been really loving the RC Aqua cardstock these days.  It's such a gorgeous color, isn't it?

I have four cards to share with you today so let's get started!  I couldn't wait to team up the new Scrapbook.com Big and Bold Christmas set with their Ink Blending Tool with Domed Foam Applicators!  For my First card I combined Scrapbook.com - Premium Hybrid Ink - Ballet Slipper + Cardinal Red.

The sentiment has been stamped in Scrapbook.com's Black Hybrid Ink.  LOVE this black!

Here's my second card, same as the first but with the following inks:

Have you tried out Scrapbook.com's stamps?  They stamp beautifully!  Love how crisp the images are!  The domed Ink Blending tool makes it super easy to use the stencil!  In today's project, I've used Stampers Anonymous - Tim Holtz - Holiday Knit on the flat side of the Tim Holtz Distress Watercolor Cardstock.

Next up is a couple cards that feature the Scrapbook.com Nested Stars:

My first card shows three of the stars stacked.  I've teamed it up with the Believe sentiment from Big and Bold Christmas, stamped in Hybrid Black ink.  The snowflake + pattern paper is from the Echo Park Papers - A Perfect Christmas 12x12 kit.  It has been adhered to the design with  Double Sided Adhesive- Small Rounds.  I'm a big fan of Scrapbook.com's

Flat Card Front
Neenah,  Solar White 25 Pack

These are staples in my craft room!

Check out my final card:

Do you see what I did?  I cut the stars out of the card front panel and stacked them on my other card.  The sentiment is from Christmas Fun Card Sentiments, heat embossed with Hero Arts Gold.
