Birthday Girl and Flying High...

TGIF my friends!!!

Today is a pretty exciting day..for a couple of reasons...

It is Get Sketchy day!

We're being sponsored by InStyle stamps! The prize is 5 digi images from Instyle!

I also have something I wanted to share with you by Courtney Baker and her new Practicing Creativity set!

Okay, check out this week's Get Sketchy #24...the Bonus Challenge is Polka Dots!

I ended up rotating the sketch....and used the ultra fun
InStyle Mykai image...

Those of you that know me might know that I love Cosmo Cricket...LOL...I paper pieced Mykai with some Early Bird polka dots...See that japanese print panel? Yup, it's a book page from something that I picked up at a rummage sale...gotta love it!!! What's that you say...why yes, I did stamp...The stamping on the japanese print panel and the sentiment are part of Courtney's You're Dandy set!

Here's another card using the You're Dandy set...

I've been enjoying making scenery cards...lots of swiss dots and pop dots too! I managed to use several of the images from the You're Dandy set...the rays...the kite {Like the blingy kite string??!!}, the clouds and the sentiment!

The You're Dandy set will be available tonight for purchase on the Practicing Creativity site at midnight eastern! These stamps are made in the US with high-quality photopolymer...they rock:)

You just gotta pop over to Courtney's blog to see some FABULOUSLY Fun cards using the You're Dandy set!!!

Here are the You're Dandy Girls:

Amy that's me
Maile
Kelley
Tiff
Carly
Kelly

Courtney

A ginormous shout out for the fabbie Courtney...I was beyond thrilled that she asked me to to be a part of this ultra-exciting day!!!!! You rock sista!!!

Well, that's it for today....make sure you pop by tomorrow...I'll have another You're Dandy card to share and a little crafty announcement:)

A whole new look for you girl...I'm so proud of all that you do - and a bit jealous because I want to be awesome like you! ;-)
All right, I think you just sold me on Just Dandy! My stamping fund is already gone this month though, I guess that just means I budget for 2 sets next month in hopes that she releases a 3rd!!
