bloom...

Before I jump right into today's sketch, I wanted to remind you of the blog hop starting tomorrow...you certainly don't want to miss out on all the fun!!

Check out this super fabbie sketch... I thought Prima flower...

I'm trying really hard to not hoard what I buy...it was actually a little difficult to de-hoard that gorgeous Prima bloom and bling...I bought that bloom when I was in Florida shopping with the very fabbie Naomi.

It's actually a 100% Prima card...patterned paper and all {obviously not the kraft card base though..}. I hope that you join us...I can't wait to see all of your creations!!!

Here's a Momma moment...

So yesterday was actually a gorgeous {although cold} day in the Pacific Northwest. The kids and I went out to lunch and {gulp} I took my girl out driving...as in...she got behind the wheel! She got her drivers permit last weekend and I haven't had the pleasure to go out with her since the kids spent this last week with their Dad for Spring Break. I needed a kidlet fix so I took them to lunch and my boy wanted to check out the new iPad. Well, after lunch and window shopping I found a large, fairly deserted parking lot to drive in. Poor girl has to majorly change up 3 mirrors and the seat...LOL.

Anywho's....she slowly lets off the break and we go coasting...keep in mind that she starts drivers school on Tuesday...no classes yet....Here's a snippet of one of our conversations:

Girl: All I know about driving I learned by watching Sponge Bob

Me: {insert thought bubble... "Sweet Mother of Pearl"....scary...on top of the fact that Sponge Bob is one of my least favorite kids show...it makes my eye twitch...the show, not her driving} OY

Girl: Sponge Bob didn't end up getting his license {or something to that effect...or is that affect?}.

Me: {insert another thought bubble...how can I be old enough to have a child that is driving...driving...} this is when I do my nervous laugh...

Well, she did a really good job...I was really proud of her. When we were all done the boy chirps up with a: "My Turn!"....yeah no, he is 12...
