channeling my inner...

{Click HERE for my The Craft's Meow Sketch Challenge Card...NEW deets on the Sketch Challenge too!!!}

I had some fun combining Echo Park and Crate Paper:

I'll be honest with you, I was trying to channel my inner:

I managed to make 2 cards...using basically the same supplies....that text strip is part of the bottom 'label' of on a 12x12 Echo Park sheet.

Vellum...I haven't used that stuff in YEARS....found a pack from Stampin' Up....I have some other ideas for the stuff:)

I was inspired by the current My Sketch World Challenge:

It's my first time playing with those girls:)

Great cards, Amy! Love the pink and gray together and love the mix of chevron and houndstooth. The vellum butterflies are fabulous, too, and I adore that pink stitching. :)

Amy this is gorgeous! I think you've really accomplished what you were going after. I loved the rose and butterfly combo that Keisha featured the other day and can't wait to try that out with the flowers I've made from the molds!

I love vellum, once you open it you'll wonder how you missed it in your stash before... Hope you're enjoying all the snow in your world.

Love both the cards and the colors are something you don't use a lot of. I think you channeled them perfectly.

I also have that sketch in my todo pile.
