born to craft

Happy Thursday!!!

I can't believe it hit over 100 degrees yesterday! Luckily I was able to crank out 2 cards in the morning...that's my favorite time to craft when it is warm out. This is my take on Laura's sketch 31. I flipped it on its side and went to work...I love this line by MME...I been hoarding it fiercely but actually this is the 2nd time I've used it in 2 weeks {here's my Hi card from last week}.

I used my PTI vintage buttons and Kaiser Craft pearls. Don't you love that sentiment? It is an American Crafts rub on...been lovin' those lately. Yup, I even did a smidge of sewing...I can have that janome running at 5 a.m. and NOT wake up the kids because of all the fans that are running in the house..LOL. I guess one thing good about this dreaded heat wave...that and we've been spending quality time over at my Momma's :) Yup, she has a/c.

Have a super Friday!!!

Beautiful card and love the rub-on you used. MME is my favorite. I can never seem to get my hands to cut it though. Just love looking at it (needless to say my stash just gets bigger and bigger each time I buy more of it).

I love that paper... I have a lot of MME paper that I hoard! The sentiment is great! I thought about you this morning. I met with my co- SS teacher and she was talking about some of her co-workers who live in Washington and what a heat wave you guys are having! Sounds like you usually have wonderful weather year round!
I love what you did with the sketch. I am up at the cabin with no stamping supplies. But this heat wave is killing me. It is well over 100 at the cabin, and last night with all fans going we only colled down to 82. UGH
See ya at the 365 again soon, I wish I had brought my stuff with me to the cabin.

I'm so glad your mom has a/c! My mom and dad dont' and I worry about them...we invite them over but they'd rather do other stuff or stay home most of the time :(

I love the MME paper on your card WITH stitching! Girl you crack me up with that sewing at 5 AM!!! Thank goodness the fans are on....We have AC too....but I turned it off because it got cold that one day when it was so warm outside!
