shabby parisian

Hey, it's my day over on the 365 Cards blog!

Pam's Challenge:

Use a vintage image on your card

I love the look of vintage/shabby chic but usually fall back on clean & crisp or fun & funky. I dug deep into my stash and found some vintage inspired stickers that are for bottle caps...I filled the cap up with Stampin' Up Crystal Effects.
It seems that I have been on a huge October Afternoon Cherry Hill kick....LOVE that stuff. The big stamped image is another Jennifer Pebbles' garage sale find last year....I stitched and shabbied the October Afternoon panel.

I know that you 365 Cards gals are going to rock this challenge!

Okay, what is a paper artist to do when someone requests a last minute card and you don't have any of your supplies? I picked up an Amy Butler Lotus Card Kit and was literally able to put together a decent card with a pair of scissors {to cut out the rub on} and some glue dots...seriously...I'm keeping the rest of the kit at work in my desk, just in case :)

I love your card. It makes me want to go back to Paris.

Shamefully, thats only happened to me once and I bought a Hallmark card, lol. One of my sorority sister's boyfriend threw her a surprise party and didn't tell me until the last minute. But that kit looks pretty neat!
