friend...

I'm seriously patting myself on the back for this card. I was able to combine 3 different challenges...unheard of in my blogland...

CPS131

for the sketch

Card*A*Licious 26

for the color combo of green, pink & orange

Secret Crafter Saturday

for their Flights of Fancy challenge, anything with wings...aha....thought I'd use an owlie, huh?

I've recently discovered Bazzill Swiss Dot paper {I used it as my 6 x 6 base}....oooohhhhh....love it. The other papers are ala American Crafts. I actually found the SU butterfly diecut piece on my work top and added that onto the card, which worked perfectly with the CPS sketch :) I've gotten to the point where I have to finish off buttons, what's wrong with me? I'm really quite the "lazy crafter" but now when I see my nakey buttons it just isn't quite right for me.

Did you notice the corners of the orange houndstooth panel...yup, used my SU corner ticket punch...didn't mean to and didn't want to trim the panel down {LOVE that pattern} so I "went with it" and added the kaiser pearls....dontcha love when that happens? That really is the beauty of paper crafting...the ability to "go with the flow"....Now I gotta find a ginormous envy for my card...LOL.

Thanks for stoppin' by!!!!

Amy, what a happy card! Your combination of bold pattern to the electric color to the scale of each piece is perfect in your fun lovin' style. I especially love the fat bit of twill on the button. I must quit hoarding my buttons....!
