what's cookin'?

Yup, you're at the right place...this is my blog. It probably threw you off since I actually have a pattern in my background of this Fabriano card....AND it ISN'T based off of a card sketch!!! I'm testing out propping background paper behind my fabriano cards. I can never get a good photo of them with my normal white background.

This already went postal to my friend who celebrates her birthday today!!

{Happy B Day J!!}

The Early Bird Mini Deck....This is another item out of my stash from Tami...pure perfection for cards...woooo hoooooo for Mini Decks!!!!! BTW, make sure you read Tami's post about a call for cards to be sent to her sister...as avid card makers I know you all gotta have at least 1 spare card to send to a gal that would appreciate it. Sheesh, Tami has even put together some blog candy as a thank you....Memory Box goodies ladies!!!

I did some major paper piecing on this card....finally inked up my Lockhart apron image {thanks to Sherry for the inspiration!!}. I 'was' going to brag that Lockhart's are out of Washington but it seems they went and moved to California :)

The sentiment is A Muse {big surprise...they rock on sentiments!}.

Thanks for some humorous comments on yesterday's post about the new Boyfriend....
