hi!

Here's the very fun sketch...I modified it slightly so that I could incorporate a certain stamp that I wanted to use...{translation = slight rebel}.

This is my take on the sketch...skinnified.

HA! I don't even know how skinny I made it...but it is 5.5 inches tall...it was all to accommodate that sweet Unity Owl image...

This 'lil puppy is chock full of goodness...the patterned paper is Pink Paislee..Hmmm...you can't tell but the paper that the owls are stamped on has monochromatic hearts on it...sweet stuff! The vinyl thickers were a Big Lots find @ $2..can't beat that and such a delish color! The chippie stars are part of my Maya Road Warehouse sale box...man, that thing rocks...a medium size'ish box filled to the brim with Maya Road Goodies? Oy! The button is from my PTI stash...the fabbie lace is from the J's clearance bin...I tell you...stealth ninja shopping moves:) See my fun stitching...LOL...yup, that was on purpose...nah, I think I started thinking about stuff...dangerous stuff to do...think...when sewing....at least for me...I need to concentrate on the needle not on other schtuff. If anyone asks, I call it "whimsical stitching"...gives the card character..LOL.

Did you see the new challenge site? I spotted it over at Allison's...

I chuckled because I sooooo need this...Everything Old Is New Again...you were suppose to use stamps that haven't seen the light of day for awhile...well, I bought this Unity image when I went to Florida...in October {?}....it has never been inked up...GASP! I'll be sharing some other projects this week...LOL

Hope you'll join us in the 365 Cards Super Sketchy Sunday fun!

P.S. Please be on the lookout for my 2nd post today...I'll be using random.org to draw for The Cutting Cafe 'Because Nice Matters' set...

DUDE: your "whimsical" stitching is neater than my "i'm really concentrating" stitching!!! :0

i ♥LOVE♥ everything about this, especially that cool stamp, but also just the color combo--you ROCK the RED-N-BLUE together!

(ps: isn't it funny how sometimes you see a sketch and think, "oh it's nice" but it doesn't GRAB you until you see a card/LO made from it...and this was TOTALLY one of those times for me...you should probably get a raise, i'm thinkin'!!!)
