such a deer reflection...

Welcome to my day over on the 365 Cards blog!

You really need to pop over to the 365 Cards blog...there is a new fresh look to the site that is super fun & adorable!

365 Cards

Pam's challenge:

This is similar to an old challenge that called for symmetry, but I want this to be a reflection of a stamped image, and the whole card doesn't have to be symmetrical.

For some reason, this was a real challenge for me...I tell you, I went through and rejected a bunch of different cards..oy..then a light bulb went off...I have these A Muse sky blue band cards that I bought from a certain someone named Tami:)...hey sista!!!!

I'm embarrassed to say that this is the first time I've inked up this sweet Stampin' Up deer...

I thought it would be the perfect image to use for this challenge...I have a thin line of glitter in between the deer and the 'water'...I'm hoping it looks like the sweet deer is on ice...hopefully I've succeeded?

I use Splitcoaststampers as a great resource for techniques...Beate is a super star...check out her tut on the Reflection Technique. I'm a ginormous fan of my stamp-a-ma-jig {I seriously never stamp without it!!!} and used the plastic sheet that came with that to do my reflection image.

I love being challenged...it's great to get to a point when you are satisfied with the end result..I was going to stamp a sentiment in the lower right hand corner but I didn't disrupt the image, kwim?

Okay, show me what you've got ladies...can't wait to see your cards!!!!
