Welcome to the Jacksonbelle Tuesday Challenge!
The challenge? Get Krafty!
Make a card using a Kraft card stock as your base!
Ohhhhh....easy smeasy for me as 90% of the time my cards use a Kraft card stock base!
I decided to use Clean & Simple #87:
This week over at Jacksonbelle, our product highlight is October Afternoon! As I patiently wait for my new October Afternoon goodies, I played with some OA that I STILL love:
This card is going postal for a bloggie friend that is under the weather...thought it was fun to use the apple print and the "take care of yourself" sentiment from Stampin' Up...the 'ole An Apple A Day saying...
I have to share my original take on the sketch...only to realize that I had made my own sketch since it didn't even match the Clean & Simple one...
The label is actually ala American Crafts Letterpress pattern paper...I managed to crank out several of these to send as thank you's to my friends that threw my engagement party...alot of those gals are 'eco' so what I did was wrote a note of thanks on a different sheet of paper...enclosed it inside the card along with another envy so that they were essentially receiving a 're-usable' greeting card...
I hope that you'll join in on the Jacksonbelle fun!

I don't know if I'm the only crafter that has this problem...I'm great at cranking out the cards but seem to have issues with actually sending cards on a regular basis....this weekend I did write out about 10 cards...sheesh, my hand was tired from writing...I'm so use to being on the computer and not handwriting stuff...LOL. Anyways, my bloggie friend Elaine posted something on her FB that I crossed to my blog...I also slightly revised it:)

I hereby promise to send something handmade to the first 5 people who leave a comment that they want to participate in the PIF challenge. In turn, they promise to post this and send something they made to the first 5 posters on their blog. I promise that your Items will be received before the end of June 2010.
Will you join me in the fun?
{EDITED: I have all 5 PIF Players...woot woot!!!!}

I did one of these last year...and it literally took me all year to send out my five cards, lol.
PS glad you enjoyed the little gifts and can't wait to see what you make with the chippies...they just screamed your name to me! :) Aloha!
I'm really slow when it comes to mailing. I still have not mail out my blog candy yet...bummer :)
