whimsy owlie goodness....

I have to tell you, the Jacksonbelle sketch challenges are my favorite!

I used my Basic Grey Green at Heart papers to piece this adorable owlie. I stumbled across
Whimsy Haven stamps and fell in love with Lindsay's sweet owlie...check out all those scallops!

This was a major paper piecing/fussy cutting project! Check out her pedi:) Typing about paper piecing...I'm entering this into the Moxie Picking up the Pieces challenge.

I'm a huge fan of pink and orange...oy...so fun & fresh! That feltie flower is ala Making Memories and the button? I've been hoarding my baggie of buttons that I picked up at Denami Designs during Winter CHA...it's a perfect match! It's from the Tutti Fruitti set...dontcha love that name? The Basic grey panel is on pop dots...did you notice the zig zag stitching?

Be sure to check out what the other JBelle Gals created for some fabbie inspiration!

WOW amy! LOVE the owl and that paper piecing is CRAZY!

p.s. the $2 theater is across from Marie Callender's in the 'gateway' complex... if you know where See's is in Fed Way right off of 320th/ I-5... i LOVE that theater (i mean, you get what you pay for) and tuesday's are only $1! they release 'older' movies (like "the blindside" is out now... so just delayed releases)

Seriously I thought you bought that owlie...because you know I'm not really reading all of the details, right? I'm just kidding....Still, I did wonder who made that (thinking it's from a mfr). Tutti-fruitti colors rock!
