Hey there!!!
How's your week going so far?
I'm sharing another new PTI set that I recently ordered...Enjoy the Ride.
LOVE VW stuff...use to own a lime green diesel New Beetle, that was well, a Lemon. I had it for 7 years...loved the size, perfect for my size, but the SUV's never seemed to see me :( That and the diesel engine wasn't the best, had it in the shop ALOT...bummer....now I'm back with a Honda:)
I paper pieced the car with some sweet October Afternoon..polka dots, who could tire of polka dots?!!! I finished it off with PTI buttons...you can't tell by the pic but I thought I was going to be so clever filling the headlamps with Crystal effects....well, it massively glooped out and actually, I LOVE the look!
I was inspired by FTL89!

Check out what my boy did for ME....
Do you see this card?!
I was asking him how he made it...it is multi-part...the branch is from the Hero Arts Flower Branch with Owl...he only inked up the branch and then he used an owl from the Ink n' Stamp-Birds and Branches!! He picked out the A Muse sentiment...He even used my HS distresser...
I lucked out...he temporarily 'lost' the sweet little 4x4 card so he made me another... scallops...scallops...and more scallops...my boy knows me!!!!! Throw in brocade and pops of rose red...topping it off with that sweet heart...woot woot!!!
Lucky for me, the owlie card was found underneath a marvy punch...LOL...so I got 2 cards from my favorite boy!
I'm soooo very thankful for my kidlets...really I am...they give me such pure joy and happiness....

My very sweet bloggie friend, Ivy, is slinging out some blog candy....Remember last week when I posted the story about Linda {more about her story on the Cocoa Daisy Blog} that I found on Savitri's blog? Well, if you donate to Linda's fund, all you have to do is pop over to Ivy's blog candy post and let her know that you've donated and she'll put your name into a random draw blog candy...come on peeps....let's help out a fellow crafter...momma...female...
Here's the comment I posted on Ivy's blog:
I initially found out about Linda via Savitri's blog...she shared the linkie and I instantly donated...how could you not? My heart goes out to her and her family....I couldn't begin to imagine going through something like that...seriously that girl shows some fantabulous strength and moxie...please don't put me in your drawing because I donated last week BUT I will post your generous blog candy on my blog and hope to get some more donations to such a worthy cause:) thanks girl!
Thanks all....for hanging in there...monsta long post.....call me chatty cathy:)
