I have a couple cards to share with you today...first up is this one:
I used a little of this and a little of that:) Stamps are Practicing Creativity and Lawn Fawn...paper/border scallop is Echo Park...SRM sentiment and Kaiser bling....
I was inspired by FTL 100....wow 100!!!!
It is also for Paige's challenge over on the Cards Blog for Cards with Kites Challenge. It was super fun to see my It's your Day card with the pinwheels highlighted over there:)
I also squeezed in some time to make another card using my Pebbles paper and an EAD vinyl rub on...
Here's a close up...how fun are those yellow clouds? Gotta love the EAD Sentiments Vinyl rub on in BROWN....
GREAT sketch...so many ways to be inspired by it! My thoughts on roadtrips with 3 teenagers....My 2 + a friend...
1. Can you believe all 3 kids packed rolling luggage for 2 nights? If you were wondering, no I didn't ...
2. Technology abounds:
4 cell phones
4 laptops
3 cameras
3 portable DVD players
4 iPods
3. There are definitely not enough 'rest stops' inbetween my home and Manzanita...this girl had to venture into a porta-potty...can you say ick?!
4. I'm definitely spoiled by the number of Starbucks I'm surrounded by and darn it...there weren't enough of those...didn't get to stop at one...grrr....
5. Renting a house close to the beach is soo totally worth the $$...
6. Next time I'm buying real creamer for my coffee...I was trying to be 'good' and picked up the soy creamer which I use to use but have definitely lost the taste of it...not sweet enough for me...
7. Having to wash the towels/sheets/dishes before we left, stinks....
8. We didn't have enough room for a cooler...see #1...so we 'had' to finish our Ben & Jerry's @ 11 a.m. on Wednesday....I hate to waste things like that:)
I had a great time with the kids...I'll have to wait for the boy to share his pics off of his new fancy smancy camera:)
I'm finally caught up on my Google Reader...woot woot...internet was spotty & sometimes very painful while I was on vaca so I'll be a'commenting from today:)
