have a tweet day...

Happy Friday!!!

Woot Woot!!!! Long, relaxing weekend ahead!!!!!
Okay, here's my card for today:

Have you seen who Yvonne's Guest blogger is? It is thee wonderful Karen Baker! She did a tut over on Yvonne's blog on a grid technique. I'm patting myself on the back for completing it...as many of you know, I'm a lazy crafter..LOL.

I was going for a monochromatic card with POW....I have a couple bottles of the spray inks and thought I'd give it a try....so I went to the garage, popped the card into a box and sprayed away...nothing...nada...the spray seemed to be on the fritz?! So I unscrewed the cap and tried to do the spattering technique...jury is out on that...thank goodness I didn't use white ink {is there such an ink color...I'm sure there is....} because then it would look like bird poop...hahaha..but glad that I at least tried it:)

I used a brown PTI button...{looks black on my computer monitor} and a sweet blue Making Memories button...

I used the Schlosser Designs, Have A Tweet Day:

♥♥Partial Project♥♥

Maybe some of you peeps remember my blog post last fall about going to Jennifer Pebbles' garage sale...you know, me and my stealth ninja shopping moves?

Well, {ahem}, I finally did something with the printer type trays that I picked up from her...partial project because they aren't in their permanent home...have to decide if I want to wall mount them or use them as flat trays...

Okay peeps...that's it for me for today! Remember to check out my other post for the day...it contains the EAD Designs Weekly Steal..you don't wanna miss it:)

I have a print tray exactly like that that I picked up at an antique store about 12 years ago. It has housed different things through the years but has been empty of late because I haven't known what to do with it. You totally inspired me so a huge thank you! Love the card too!

Great way to use the grid (I'm still trying to decide what to do for that one). LOL - so glad the spray was aqua.

Love your grid card - I've definitely got to give this a try.
and...excellent point about the white ink...I actually don't use red spray ink because it reminds me of splattered blood. Good for Halloween though :)
Cute card Amy! Hope you are doing great! I love your A Muse stamp storage idea. I gotta get some of those too.

love the card!! I'm diggin' this spattering technique, love the effect!!
Would kill for those trays! ;) They look made for those stamps.

well, i LOVE the grid and i ♥LOVE♥ the inky splatter; but yeah, the ink sprayers CAN clog up; if you soak it in warm water and then reaaaaaaaaaally rinse it well that helps; for a while tattered angels was replaying their sprayers if you emailed them; not sure if that's still true; good news is the TH mini-misters NEVER seem to clog and you can pour a bit of the other brand in there and use it! :)
