Scrappy Betties

Wanna start at the beginning of the hop?  Go to--->> Vera's Blog

You'll definitely want to partake in the blog hop for a couple different reasons:

1.  inspiration, inspiration, inspiration!!

2.  Chock full of fun!!

3.  Prizes!

$25 GC for Wplus9 and 4 Hero Arts stamps from Jennifer McGuire and More!!
(more info available on Vera's blog)

You have until Wednesday, October 27, midnight CST, to leave comments on all the blogs (to be eligible for prize).  Winners will be announced on Friday, October 29th on Vera's Blog!

Vera started the Caring Hearts Card Drive in an effort to collect Thanksgiving & Christmas cards to be sent to the elderly who live in nursing homes or care centers. This giving back program is going on until November 15, 2010!!

Here's my card that I made especially for the Caring Hearts Blog Hop!

I inked up my new Hero Arts Music Background image that I picked up in Oregon last week {can you say TAX FREE?!}.  The green paper is from the new Making Memories Noel line...so is that fabbie "O Christmas Tree" Glittery diecut...The base is by GMund which is loaded with texture...that's why I decided to ink it up with my Memento Rich Cocoa to bring that out...the bakers twine is from the oh-so-generous Karen Baker:)  My card is inspired by Card Patterns 86 {ugh, missed the deadline but it is a fabbie sketch!} and by the City Crafters Challenge 27 to create a card with a vintage feel.

I'm thrilled to be part of such a wonderful program that Vera has started...Thanks Girlie!

Your next hop is to Anna Keyes' blog:

Thanks so much for stoppin' by and perhaps you might be interested in donating to Vera's Caring Hearts Card Drive?!
