Hello and Happy December!

So on Sunday I gave myself a self-challenge...I had Echo Park's Merry Christmas and Everybody Loves Christmas kits and my sewing machine...no other embellies that weren't part of the kits and in a couple hours I was able to crank out 21 Christmas cards....here is one of them:


Gotta love all the colors and patterns:)

I started to work on my December Daily...and haven't quite figured out my dealio with it....working full time {we didn't get home until after 7 pm last night!} ...commuting and everything else doesn't give me a whole lotta time to be snapping pictures so I'm going to go fairly basic, I don't want this project to add more stress to my evenings..

Here is December 1....Christmas Tunes...


We're one of those families that start cranking out the Christmas tunes in November...LOVE the stuff...it definitely puts me in the holiday spirit...how about you?

Most of the supplies are from the Making Memories Noel line...the alpha stickers are a mix of Making Memories and T $ spot.  The music panel is ala Hero Arts..the poinsettia is from the local craft store {after Christmas '09} the brad is J's.  Each of my Daily pages have a pocket {that is from the Noel Advent Calendar banner kit} that I have a little journal card in to put some little notes in there...the kids will be helping me with that too.

I totally feel you!! I got home late last night and I just did the attitude of gratitude in nov. soooooo not thinking I will have energy for dec. journal! LOL!! Oh now I am loving this card with all that fabulous sewing and Echo Park too.

I can't wait to watch that December Daily grow each day. You are really into commitment these past few months. First the CC and now the DD. I am loving it!

I hear you with the work life interfering with the scrapping life. I've got to keep my Dec. Daily easy peasy this year or I'm sunk.
Loving that Echo Park paper...and my husband loves the holiday music right away...me, not so much.

21! Wow! I am such a slooooow card maker, lol. I tried to do a December Daily last year, but my Cricut pooped out on me while I was halfway through cutting out my pages (I was going for a varied shape look), so I got frustrated and gave up. I'm getting a replacement Cricut for Christmas, so maybe next year I'll have one ready!

I don't have time for a December daily either, but journaling seems to be a great solution. I still need to make Christmas cards! Last week it was 200 Christmas cookies for caroling that took priority! This morning it is a Birthday cake for my sister. I am seriously considering going the photo card route for some, shhh...
