Kick Cancer's Booty!

Welcome to the Skipping Stones Design Sketch Challenge!!

This is our 2nd week with our February Guest Designers...check out Lea's latest sketch:

I know...I know...I LOVE it TOO!

Here's my take:

I'm still on a quest to use my older 6x6'ers...this is Making Memories Just Chillin'...I've had it for a couple years...My other goal was to use as many different Skipping Stones Design Stamp Sets on this card...can you guess how many I used???

All the stamping has been heat embossed...love how it makes the images/sentiments POP!

I sooo wanted to stitched around the Timeless Textures panel but in the past my embossing gets all 'gummed up' on my needle and makes a huge mess...any tips?

This card has gone postal to Katie Renz...hope it brightens her day:)

You won't wanna miss the fabbie goodness from the other gals on the Skipping Stones Design Team:

Woot Woot for our February Guest Design Team...

Very cute Amy...I've been pulling out my Patterns Packs from Stampin' Up lately too...there is definitely a down side to hoarding my stash! Love the idea of using multiples of the SSD sets too!

OK, girlie. No pressure but you are going to be my inspiration for using up the hoard of 6x6 DPs starting with this fabulous card.
Here's hoping I've narrowed it down to just one drawer crammed full of those pads by Christmas LOL!
Hugs,
Aimes

Beautiful card! The embossing certainly does highlight the stamping. I'm no help on the stitching question, I go the lazy way of faux stitching with a pen.

OMGosh that sentiment is the best!! Love the papers, embossing, sewing!!!! Sewing on cards and layouts is just so eye catching to me, I love it and always will!! Your take on the sketch is fantastic!
Glad to see you using up the old stuff - especially when it is this sunny and happy! No sewing tips... I try to avoid embossing altogether, 'cause it's messy, but you are right it adds something to your creations.
