snowmen and queen bee..

Okay, I'm back with my weekly Jingle Belles' cards..and a surprise...

This week's theme was:

Baby, It's Cold Outside!

we're prompting you to make cards or tags that include ... scarves, mittens, hats, ear muffs ... or some fuzzy warm felt (or perhaps all of the above if you are so inclined).

Here's my take on the challenge...Echo Park papers...

Yup, back at using my rosette die...I tell you, it makes all the difference when you're working with all the right panels or whatever you call those layers when you use your diecutting machine:)

I managed to crank out 4 of the same design..

All the paper is ala Echo Park, the buttons are PTI, the wool felt is Impress and the sentiment is SRM.

I was inspired by the current Waltzing Mouse sketch:

**Happy Mail Alert**

Okay, I was an EXTREMELY lucky girl to have won a blog candy over at Pixie Dust Paperier. I was thrilled that it was a Lauren Bergold original....I actually consider myself mighty lucky to have a handful of Lauren's originals...her work is extremely detail oriented, a person could gaze at her art for hours...

This is the sweet 'lil card that came with the package..

Okay, ready...set...go:

It is thee most magical C-R-O-W-N..

I know...a-mazing...honestly...over the top wonderful and it is all MINE:)  Thank you so very much Kirsty of Pixie Dust Paperier and thank you Lauren for creating such a gorgeous masterpiece....

~The Queen Bee~
{edited to add the "~"...thanks Julie E!}

First... I adore your Jingle Belle card so, so, sooooooo much. I'm kinda swooning over your rosette right now (I have a "thing" for rosettes). And I LOVE that you layered a piece of felt between the button & the rosette! Such a wonderful detail! It really adds just that extra little somethin' to your SUPER cute paper!!!!!! Love it!

SECOND... THAT CROWN!!! OMG!!!!!!!! Wow...I hope now that you've taken pictures that you're prancing around your house in it. :D You deserve it. xo

Wow wow wow X 10^23!!! Love this entire post!! Where on God's lovely green earth did you get that rosette die? I keep seeing it and absolutely love it! My only option would be to do them by hand, unless whatever makes them goes in a Cuttlebug or Calibur!! LOL I absolutely love that you sew so beautifully on your crafts!!
