don't think of this card...

Hello and Welcome to Skipping Stones Design Sketch Challenge Day!

Check out the fun sketch for the week by our Guest Sketch Artist, Laurie Schmidlin:

My card ended up taking a VERY clean & crisp approach:

I used the hot air balloons from this month's new release, Uplifting:

I wanted to use that fun sentiment:
"Don't think of this card as "late"
It's just early for next year's birthday!

That fun sentiment is from March's release, Green Birthday:
Cracks me up....everytime.

The colors were inspired by the latest Play Date Cafe challenge:

I was having difficulties with my photo editing {sigh} so you can't really see that the white panel has been embossed with the Quickutz polka dots...

You won't wanna miss the fabbie goodness from the other gals on the Skipping Stones Design Team:

And our fabulous April Guest Designers:

Guest Sketch Artist:  Laurie Schmidlin
Guest Designer:  Diana Fisher
Guest Designer:  Mona Pendleton

Thanks so much for stoppin' by!

Good golly lady, this creation is absolutely fantastic!! LOOOOOOOOOOOOOVIN the green rolly hills!! That sentiment beats 'em all, OMG how stinkin cute!! That sketch is great, and your creation is even greater!! Have you ever been in a hot air balloon? I haven't but I'm sure willing to try, that and skydiving - some people wonder why anyone would jump OUT of a perfectly good plane, and I say, well, why wouldn't you?
GAH!!!! Love this so much, Amy! Hugs! :)
