Do you like to mass produce cards? It's been awhile since I've done any mass production but it really wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be. My friend is getting married next month so I made her bridal shower invites.

My goal was to keep them clean & simple and postal friendly...
I used her wedding invites as my inspiration...her base is from Paper Source, my base is from Paper Zone...pretty good match considering I forgot to bring her invite when I went shopping for the paper!
You can't tell by the pic, by HERE is her invite that she used. She just ran them through her printer...So the Hero Arts Small Flower was a perfect match. I inked it up with PTI Fresh Snow...I tried embossing one of my cards but decided that I'd rather top the card off with stitching...stitching and heat embossing don't get along too well....The sentiment is from the Hero Arts Cuckoo set:) I didn't do so well with the postal friendly. I decided to put the kraft panel on large glue dots so I had to add additional postage...oh well, totally worth it:)
For you PTI Fresh Snow users...do you tend to heat gun the ink after using it? It always seems 'tacky' to me...not sticky but tacky...kwim?
This fits for the current Hero Arts Party contest...and the Stamp It! Cards Week Challenge in the Moxie Fab World.

I seem to be on a green kick today...I'm thinking of going into business with my girl...I've had some jewelry supplies that I bought a while ago...had a design in mind..bought all the stuff and yes, never got around to putting the necklace together {story of my life!}...so I was thinking about it the other day..my girl seemed bored with nothing to do so I asked her if she could put my project together....
BAM...the girl was done within minutes...or it seemed like it anyways:) The pendent is Making Memories Vintage Groove. All the other supplies {it is strung on metal wire} are from a Ben Franklin store that was within walking distance from my former job {let me tell you that I'm saving TONS of money not being within walking distance to any crafty store at my new job}....it is a short necklace, I love them that way. I actually have 2 more of the green beads left...I don't typically wear earrings so I'll have the girl put together a bracelet or something with them...

An accessories line? I love short necklaces too...the long ones get caught on my multiple bag straps and I might die of accidental strangulation...lol
cool necklace!
