Hiya!

How is it going?  We're half way through the work week...yahooooo!

The lovely ladies over at jingle belles have a fun challenge:

we're asking you to incorporate either stars OR stripes into your card design

So when I spotted a sheet of Basic Grey Figgy Pudding Stickers that had a star...I worked my design around that...

Yup, that's one ginormous star...the kraft base is 6x6!  Did you notice my stitching on the star?  I've been a crazed seamstress on my cards...makes me want to actually break down and take some sewing lessons to I can actually sew on fabric...ugh, another hobby?  I don't have the space!  Anywho's....the overall design of this card is pretty plain so I glitzed up the other stars from that Figgy Pudding Sticker sheet with some Martha silver glitter....I just loaded up the glitter on the sticky side of the stars:)

I was inspired by the latest Just Us Girls Sketch...

That is one huge star! What a way to use that PP. Your stitching is fab as always. If you can sew on paper, you can sew with fabric :>)

I love this, and I think you are SO clever for using the sticky side of the stars to adhere your glitter! When you get your swallows, you can run them through your X or just paint whatever glue you have on hand and you'll have some silvery birds!
