swimming

I 'should' be organizing everything for my garage sale that will be starting in a couple of hours but a girl has to sit and have her coffee before starting her morning {that started at 4 am! real time blogging here}.

So I'm here to chat about the Swimming for Katie Renz Fundraiser:

How wonderful is this papercrafting community that we are a part of?  Seriously!  The fabulous folks at i {heart} papers put together a massive blog hop and fundraiser to help one of our fellow papercrafters.  Katie Renz, I haven't had the opportunity to meet her in person but I've been a fan of hers...not only for her artistry but for her strength and candor.

So, I'm here to do a shout out....in case you didn't know, there are several digi/stamps that you can purchase over at i {heart} papers along with a paypal linky to make a donation...I did both and hope that you'll contribute in some way whether it is to purchase something, make a donation or perhaps just spread the word?

Here's a quick card that I put together using the Keep Swimming Octopus digi:

I couldn't get it to photog and so I'll be back with another pic...my photo tent has been dismantled for the glorious garage sale that now starts in almost 3 hours and I still have to get the stuff on the tables and organized....way to procrastinate amy:)  {actually I have done alot of prep work, I just have a ton more to do}...

My card was inspired by the Paperworks Co sketch.

Did you know that if you donate $33 via paypal you get a ticket for a fabulous drawing:

To help raise money for Katie, Creating for Causes has generously donated a FREE ticket (value: $249.95) to one of their upcoming 3-day Scrap & Stamp Retreats.

The winner of the free ticket will enjoy 3 days of non-stop fun and creativity with fellow scrappers, stampers and papercrafters, and can choose between the Charlotte, NC Scrap & Stamp Ritzy Retreat at The Ritz-Carlton on October 21-23 or the Orlando, FL Scrap & Stamp Retreat at the Marriott World Center on November 4-6. Both retreats promise to spoil you and provide 48-straight hours of creating, camaraderie and fun!

I'm crossing my fingers for the North Carolina event:)

Okay, that's it for me peeps...off to organize!
