happy sunday!
Tags...I love them...they are such a fun size...little but not too little...layering and fussy cutting make a big statement on a tag:
The patterned paper is MME...I have a love/hate thing with double sided paper...love getting the variety but hate slicing into gorgeous patterns on the opposite side...kwim? I managed to rescue some of the gorgeous print on the opposite side of the houndstooth pattern.
I love how MME layered the bold damask over the text...sooo pretty, eh? That fussy cut panel is on glue dots...No stitching on the tag because I didn't want to disrupt the houndstooth but then decided to add the bling border...the sentiment is ala The Craft's Meow Vintage Ornaments:
I was inspired by the Moxie Fab World
I was inspired by:
the houndstooth print {check}
the green {check}
the curve of the collar {fussy cutting}
the brooches {the Crate button/pearl center}
My very fantastic ribbon is compliments of Sherry's Wrinkle Ribbon Shop....you gotta check out her glorious colors!
Countdown to Christmas: Day 5
What's that? The colors look different from Days 1 - 4?
I broke down and downloaded the Pink Paislee Holiday Magic collection from Jessica Sprague.
How could I resist?
The colors are so fun and happy...I've been enjoying this digital thing...I really only dabbled in the digital images that need to be colored...I'm not so good at that but this digital patterned paper and embellies thing ROCKS...although I'm not looking forward to buying more ink for the printer....thank goodness for Costco.
QUESTION for you:
??Do you use a Ink Jet or Laser Printer??

I am LOVING digital papers and elements! I've been using them for about 6 months now. It gives me the chance to use trendy/current papers without having to invest in an entire stack that I may or may not use all of. And I can always print more and more of the patterns I love instead of hoard them! Printer? Ink jet (HP). My last cartridge lasted 6 months or so--I can live with that (and it's not just papercrafting printing I'm doing, so that's fine!)
P/s: I use an ink-jet printer.
TFS~
ME ... Ink-jet!!..
I'm backwards...I did digital crafting for years (it was so much easier to "CLEAN UP" when my littles were littles). Now that they won't destroy stuff (they better not ages 10-15!!! ;) ) I have gotten into this hands on stuff. I have ALWAYS wanted a laser, but have been blessed with decent inkjets along the way.
Your baggies are gorgeous too! What a great thing to do for the kids. :)
Adorable calendar bags, too. Those papers and colors are fab, you are so right. I have a super old ink jet printer that doesn't do such a hot job. It's good for the basic black and white, but not much else. makes working with digi papers and embellishments next to impossible, unfortunately. Really need to upgrade, but that always gets put to the bottom of the priority list.
i use ink jet printer but then again, i don't use digi images too much. i barely have enough time for regular stamping stuff!
