I have several manufacturers that I swoon over..like seriously love their stuff.
One of them is October Afternoon and right now I'm really loving their Farmhouse Collection!
I saw this fun sketch on their blog by Roree...talk about talent, that girl is chock full of it!
So I challenged myself to whip together some cards using that fab sketch:
There is something about grey and yellow...love that happy combo:
I cut strips and then used my corner chomper...I adhered the strips onto a piece of cardstock and then zig zagged the strips together...way more time consuming than I had originally anticipated since everything was x 2. The card base is Stampin' up Basic Gray...still LOVE that color. Did you see the row of grey/silver pearls...
Here's a parisian take on the sketch:
I'm actually a huge fan of non-sentiment cards...they are good to have in the stash.
Raise your hand if YOU'RE an October Afternoon fan...make sure you pop over to the OA blog to see the sketch challenge...both Roree and Amy Heller have such gorgeous interpretations of the sketch. Amy's layout is a blue paradise...such a fab gal Amy is...I had the opportunity to meet her last year:)

Your cards are gorgeous - love that yellow/gray combo too - need to look into that Stampin Up grey, too!
