I still love that Stampin' Up Top Note Die!

Hi Amy!

Thanks again for having me as one of your guest designers this week. This is a blast! And, boy, you were one determined crafter back then, hand cranking your sewing machine! I do have to say, going backwards looking at older cards inspires me to retry some techniques or reuse a die or stamp I haven't used in a long time. Such a great idea. Just 'hopping' by myself to see everyone's posts. Have a great weekend!

I have to giggle - hand cranking the sewing machine while the kids were sleeping...I remember vividly trying to 'quietly' set eyelets with a hammer. I'm pretty sure that my kids could sleep through a complete home renovation, but a butterfly fart would wake them up if I was TRYING to let them sleep. lol!
It's a lotta dots, but I love the felt & the sewing, and sparkly letters? YAY! Shiny!
Thanks so much for having me as a guestie :)

Hi Amy,

Your card is fabulous with the die cuts! I can't sew, it's my weakness. You already have a style way back then.

You HANDCRANKED your sewing machine?! I think I wouldn't sew if I had to do that (although I totally understand the joy of sleeping children). This is such a fun card! I love all the different textures/materials. Thanks for having me on Flashback Friday....it's been a great experience!

Amy, I love the story of the hand cranking, I have done that as well. Isn't it nice that this first die cut brought back such sweet memories for you too? Your Christmas card is fun and so bright and cheery. Thanks for all the hard work you do with this challenge. Have a wonderful day.
