I love this card, it's adorable.
Our slumlord property mgmt company says that the owner of the house we're in wants us out because we requested that toooo many basic things be fixed in the house. Seriously, that's the reason they gave. So now we are packing to move. Well, we've been in the house for two years, and we were hurried into it by our previous slumlady. Yes, the house is horrible, looks disastrous from the outside because the lawn has rarely been watered by anybody other than us, needs paint in theeee worst way; in fact, the whole thing needs gutted and rebuilt. It's leaking radon, has no proper venting so any dust in the crawl space and house just gets circulated right back into our breathing air {no wonder I have never been sicker in my life than in the last two years}, has cost us a fortune in electricity because the electric water heater. Our neighbor called the house "the biggest eyesore slum of the neighborhood." Although that did hurt my feelings because I don't ever want to be known as a person who'd live in the "slum of the neighborhood," this card you made underscores what's important about a house. If there's love in it, then it's a home. And although we hate the "submarine" as we call it, we have some great memories from living here with each other, KWIM? Can't believe I wrote this big of a comment, but I was just really struck by this card and what's going on with "me" right now :->
