hello.

I was inspired by Danni Reid's card that I pinned HERE.

It reminded me that I had the very same Hello tags:

We have another gal starting in our department on Monday :)  So I was asked to make her a card and for some reason I had a heck of a time putting this together.  I envisioned it totally different BUT I do love how it turned it.

Lots 'o texture:

cardbase/Gmund/Savanna {Heidi Van Laar enabled me}
{this stuff rocks...I have it in kraft too.  It's wonderfully embossed with a woodgrain pattern and I think it's about 130 lb...magnificently thick.  The company is headquartered in Germany}

The white panel has been embossed in gold with Skipping Stones Design Pumkin Seed Sentiments....LOVE that set.

The shipping tag is from Office Depot:)

The hello tag is Jillibean..something I squirreled away and so glad that I used.

The twine is from the shipping tag.

***

I have a super fun weekend plan, you?

Tonight I'll be poppin' over to CKC and taking a class taught by THEE Teri Anderson.  I'm looking forward to it!  I've never actually taken a class at CKC, just did the shopping bit:)  I'll be shopping tomorrow morning though...will get to spend some quality time with this lady and hope to see this lady too!

P.S.  I'm trying to get a handle on my Google Reader but it seems that every time I log in there are 600 posts waiting for me...sigh...I can't seem to keep up with it and sadly, it seems to stress me out.  So, I've been hitting the 'ole "mark all as read" lately because it's all suppose to be fun, kwim?

Gorgeous! I don't know what I love more, if the embossed background, the cute wooden banner or that adorable bow :)

gorgeous! I must check out that lovely paper! I'm pretty sure I need some!

Have fun with Terri!

And I don't even use Reader anymore because of the same reason. I have my fav blogs that I regularly comment on sent to my inbox. It's SO much more manageable for me! But I guess that all depends on how many blogs you follow and comment on!!
