Why do I type it that way?  It might be me, but it seems goodies bring people out of the woodwork and I want to keep this to the peeps that come here to see my projects, not for the goodies.

my answer:  I've definitely become the clear girl...easy to stamp and easy to store.

I have a ton of wood mount that I haven't touched in a long time...I should sell them but they are so pretty:)

I've become a clear girl too, Amy. I still use wood, but it isn't my first choice. Oh, and I definitely come here to see your projects and hear your news, not just for goodies. ;-)

I really can't choose ... not if you by wood mount also mean ez mount red rubber. I love them both. So much. It's like choosing one baby over the other. Can. Not. Do. :):):)

I have become a clear girl for sure! I do still have some wood but rarely reach for them! (Even though I love them). I'm thinking of destashing all of my SU sets from when I first started......I haven't used them in like 10 years!

I have tons of wood mount stamps and do love the way they stamp. But....love the clear stamps for so many other reasons!

This is a hard question for me to answer. I still like the feel of a wood mount stamp but it is hard to beat the versatility and ease of storage of the clear stamps.

I am a clear fan too....I never actually used the wood, just got sold on stamps based on clear. I do not have a thing ma bob for my stamps, and those wood ones are expensive!

I have become a clear stamp girl because there is so much more control. I also have so many woodblock and I will say that they consistently give the best impression, but so hard to line up. I am always here for your inspiration Amy, because there is so much of it. :)

I love my clear mount stamps, Amy, because they are so easy to store. More stamps fit in the same amount of space too. :-)

I am too lazy to figure out a stamp-a-ma-jig, so I am definitely a bigger fan of clear these days. Wood is easier for kidlets, though, that's for sure!

I am definitely a clear stamp girl. I find they are much easier to clean and store away. And it's cool that you can see through the acrylic block so you know exactly where you're stamping :)

I love how rubber holds ink, and wood mounted stamps are easier to use with a stampamajig, but you can't beat clear for seeing through while stamping--and they are so much less bulky for storage. I like them both!

Maybe it's becuase I'm still learning, but I think wood (or cling) stamp better than clear, at least certain brands of clear. I did had some good results with SSS clear ones, Thanks for the chance.

I use them both - but definitely usually buy clear now unless it's some really cute stamp (!) - it's so hard to line up the wooden ones! even with one of those 'thing a ma jigs"!!!!

Use them both but I definitely always buy alphas in clear because then I can see where I'm stamping! I will never get rid of my wood mounted stamps (and they seem to give a better image), but clear is also easier to store! So yeah...love them both!

Both! Why pick a fav? I like clear stamps more though because of price, ease of use and storage. But there's something about a good wood stamp. It already has cushion, usually stamps perfectly and pretty! Thanks for the BC too :)

I've turned into a clear girl, easy to sort through and I like that I can see where I'm stamping... but there is something about a nice wood mount stamp every now and again so i can't totally dis them! hehehe!

hi Amy, well I buy mostly clear stamps now as it's much easier to position them, although I do have all my collection of wooden stamps on shelves like ornaments ... LOL, so I can admire them .. LOL :) xx

I like them both! I'm fairly new to stamping so I like the fact that wood stamps don't need an additional block. But I like the lower price of clear stamps and the ease of using them too!
