love jar.

Something I don't tend to do is use my Cameo...I know, I know.  I feel very fortunate to have one but I swear it takes me an hour just to pick out what image I want to use!

So here you go:

Good Grief, I know...another Mason Jar Cameo Card!  Here's a link to my other one.  They use different cut files, the one for today is by Lori Whitlock.

A non-DT card...a just for fun card...no challenges, just a self challenge to use what I have.  I have spools and spools of twine but for some reason, I like the rustic charm of the twine I used {Thanks Yvonne!}....The papers are from Paper Made Bakery kits.  The woodgrain is from this month's kit, How's the Weather.  and everything else is from January's kit.

It's a wee card at 4.25 inches tall and 2.75 inches wide.

Cameo Expert-istas!

What's the best setting to use for files that have intricate cuts,  like a background panel with words or delicate blooms?  When I use patterned paper from 6x6 pads it chowders the paper as if it is too thin....what are your tips for cardstock and patterned paper?

My sticky mat is well, no longer sticky...I originally used PTI cardstock and I think the 'fuzz' from them made the mat no longer sticky so now I use my washi tape to make sure the papers don't move around {live and learn!}.

Here's to a fabulous week friends!

An absolutely adorable Mason jar. Sorry - don't have a Cameo so I'm no help on that topic!

love it!

I can't help with any Cameo suggestions. I'm also not loving mine. Either the mat is too sticky then soon not sticky enough. And I don't like that I can't use nice cardstock in it, just the thin stuff.
Sorry -- no tips ... I don't have one :) I love love love love your card!! LOVING that jar and the twine!!!

Can't help you with the Cameo questions but I can say that this is adorably bright and fun!
So cute! I need to start using my stash, I actually found some stuff while cleaning my craft room yesterday that I am determined to use.

What a fun card, Amy, I love your jar! Can't help you either, don't have one. I was disappointed with the cricut as well for the reasons you stated. Thick cs would not cut through, sticky mat stuck to the paper and it took to long to make a single cut once you got it set up and wasted a lot of paper. that is why I sketch it out and fussy cut it! Have a wonderfully fun day!

Lol sometimes it happened to me that I see my cameo and the idea to turn on the computer, plug the cords, put the paper, etc stop me to use it but when all that things are done I enjoy it like a kid in a candy store lol.

By the way lovely card.

A woodgrain jar, cute! As for the cameo, can't help either - I do get frustrated with the intricate cuts not cutting properly.

So cute! love these papers! BTW, I'm not sure if it's the same as I have a Cricut, but I will take it and use a lysol wipe on it and then run it under the water, it often brings back the stickiness.

Oh how fun, those little stars in the jar lid are a perfect touch! I hear you on the "chowdering" challenge ... I use the washi too and turn the blade setting down a notch. If it's not cutting through the paper at that point you can always make a second pass. Usually it's the M's that give me trouble with those sharp angles.

I love that "love" and I love that jar! At least, you are way better than me.... I bought my Cricut Expression when it first came out and only used it 3-4 times.... It's now up in the attic. Don't tell my hubby! keke...

This is super cute, Amy! I love the mason jar with the sentiment on the woodgrain. Unfortunately, I don't have any tips for the Cameo. I just got a Portrait for Christmas and I'm still learning myself! Have a happy Monday!

Someone should seriously manufacture wood grain mason jars. I'd have like 500 of them. Cute card!

Love this wee card! You did a great job with your Cameo. I can't answer any of your questions, though, as I never really got my cricut figured out. I'm pretty lame with everything but the bug!

AWwww......so sweet! Love the patterns and the mason jar!

P/s: I have only used fonts on my Cameo. I have not spent my $20 at the store nor used any SVG files. Just been collecting all the free stuff. lol Thanks for all the links! I'm a digital hoarder!!!

Super cute card!! To re-sticky your mat just wash it in the sink with a lil soap and water and allow it to air dry... It works great!
