●●Fusion #8: happy day●●

Hello!

Thank you for all the wonderful inspiration with Fusion #7!

Check out Fusion #8:

PROCEDURES:

1. Play with just Jackie's sketch challenge.

2. Play with just Lesley's inspiration photo challenge.

3. Or you can create FUSION by combining BOTH challenges into one card.
4. Use the challenge graphic and link back to Fusion in your post.

I'm on Lesley's Team:

I was inspired by:

watercolors
blooms
mason jar

I fussy cut Jane's Doodles Life is Good Mason Jar along with the rose and leaves from Jane's Roses set.

I used good old water color pencils...I tried to do this look that I pinned from Annabelle O'Malley's blog, but I realized I need a crafty spritzer.  Um, my regular water spray bottle that I use for plants is a smidge too big and tends to saturate everything within a 6 foot radius....{rolling my eyes}.

I wanted my card to be filled with texture so I nestled everything on a Gmund Savanna {woodgrain} skinny card.  It's skinny because for some crazy reason I had this already cut and scored but then used a bit of the corner to die cut a cloud...obviously during some crafting frenzy.  Hence, the strategically placed wood piece with SRM sentiment because the left side of the card, truly isn't straight...there is a portion of the cloud still visible.

This card will obviously go to an awesome crafter that will admire my craft savvy-ness to be able to rescue that card base.  I believe that a non-crafter would flip to the interior of the card and wonder why this card has a bite taken out of it.
{chuckling, because my kids know that I chuckle at my own jokes}

What inspires you?
