retro sketch: J'aime

Howdy!

Bloggin' live because that's how I'm rollin' today.  I'm allotting myself the morning to be crafty then after lunch, onward to the unpacking.  My goal is get the kitchen/dining room unpacked and set up.  It's stressful to walk into almost every single area and be surrounded by boxes.

Anywho's....crafting is such a fabulous therapeutic release for me and then when you add coffee themed crafting, I'm all good:

My goal is to start using my September Studio Calico kit and combine it with highly neglected supplies.  So everything on this card is from the kit with the exception of the java stamp.  I bought a handful of Verve coffee themed stamps and well, they need some stampy love.

I was thoroughly inspired by the current retro sketch:

pssttt...I spotted the sketch on Laurie's blog.  You're going to LOVE her card!

I shared this on FB this morning:

...the realities of combining households.

I know, I need to buy another Memento Tuxedo Black to even things up:)

HOOOOOORAY for unpacking! I LOVE setting up rooms and getting it all decorated (but I don't like to redecorate once it's done! LOL!)! Hope you enjoy this new home!!

And having that many inks isn't TOOOOOO bad? You can never go wrong with brown and black ink! LOL!
Wish I was there :)

I loveeeeeee this! LOVING those colors!! And LOL to the stamp pads!!!!

Love eveything about this card! So fun and modern. And if you are a messy crafter like me, then I think the same rule applies to Memento as it does to scissors...if you have a lot, you will always be able to find one. ha!

Oh, to actually have "too many inks" would be wonderful, because my stash (as you can tell by the minimal inking I do!) is pretty meagre! Your photo is delightful, and your card...only one word: LOVE! The green, the stamping, the sentiment - totally in love with this one! You rock!
