So, I literally made this card this morning, totally inspired by Chrissy, see her card HERE on the Sweet Stamp Shop blog.

I'm sending this to a friend that will totally chuckle...she's not much of a Kawaii girl so I left off the facial features. I tell you, those Sweet Stamp Shop images have something for everyone!
I've been really enjoying my Fabriano cards...they have been packed away for so long but with my current obsession of my Distress Stains, they are coming in handy.
...and such an easy image to mask!
How did I watercolor it?
I 'daub' the distress inks on an acrylic stamp block. I pick up the ink with a paint brush saturated with water and simply paint.
Distress Stains:
crushed olive
broken china
tea dye
My black ink of choice:
memento tuxedo

Busy day for me...picking up the girl this morning, having a coffee date with some friends and then we're taking out my Momma for an early Birthday Dinner {Dinner #2 of 3..spoiled woman!}.
