Hello!

This is a multi-tasking post...I'm combining the 

February papetrey ink blog hop



with

Seize the Sketch 14


First up is my card:


The color are inspired by the PTI photo.  I love working with the springy colors!

cardstock:  white/aqua mist papertrey ink
base panel:  lily bee persnickety
stamps:  papertrey ink Think Big #15/Heart-2-Heart #1
ink:  Hero Hues black, Zing/white
other:  papertrey ink doily die, lawn fawn journal die, Impress green wool felt 

I made this especially for my Momma...her birthday is Thursday.  She's a Starbucks-a-holic like me!

Check out that coffee cozy...I FINALLY used that awesome die by papertrey ink!


aqua mist = ♥

I combined the aqua mist felt with some other felt that I picked up from Impress.  Here's a close up:


The leaves, they are free form cut.  I decided to do some stitching on them and like the results!  Aren't those papertrey ink notched flowers...awesome.  I don't know why I don't use them more.  Love the added detail of the heart tab on the sleeve.

Really excited about how this duo turned out.  I'm sure my Momma will love it since it'll come with a Starbucks card!

Amy! SUCH a fantastic idea to make a coffee cup sleeve with felt. Gorgeous and so practical, too. I love that papertrey ink flower die, and your hand-cut, hand-stitched leaves are perfect! Who knew you were such a wiz with a needle!? Your mum will LOVE this.
