whole box of crayons

slow to the party.

that's me.

This is actually my first card using distress Inks and the blending tool.

I know!

I've been on a Distress ink/stain fest lately and finally pulled out that Ranger blending tool.

good grief.that's fun.

I super LOVE how the inks react to drops of water.

I'm pretty sure that if you're a challenge junkie like me, you instantly knew where I was coming from:

Seriously, who doesn't love Joni's work?

paper:  strathmore watercolor stamps: reverse confetti petals 'n posies/dream in color/peacock pretties ink: hero arts hues/black, distress ink barn door/spun sugar/wild honey other:  reverse confetti banner confetti cuts, zing white embossing powder.

I'm sure you'll be sponging with the blending tool a lot now - it gives the absolute best result - even if you are just doing the edges.... love the sentiment you used on your lovely card today!

I am soooo late to this party, because water-colouring and I aren't seeing eye-to-eye on things. I've decided that rather than fret and stress, I'll just admire the skills and talents of others. Your card is AWESOME! Beautiful take on Joni's card...absolutely beautiful!
Hugs~c
What a great CASE of Joni's card. And I'm always slow to try out the new stuff. I kind of 'amble' around with crafts...taking my time.

Yes, I knew absolutely what challenge this was for, so I'm not going to bother entering now! hahaha! Seriously, it's fantastic!

Question, do the distress inks act differently than say the Stampin' Up! inks when you watercolor with them? I have several distress inks, but I haven't tried watercoloring with them yet. Thanks!
