Yup, it's that time of the month already:
If you haven't joined the Sweet Stamp Shop Facebook page, I HIGHLY recommend it. Mrs Sweet has been known to post some specials and sneaks of the sets...and you definitely need to join the Facebook Release Events pages!
Okay, here we go:
I went traditional with the set on this card:
cardstock: pti kraft stamps: sweet stamp shop dad's tool box/hats ink: stazon, copic r29 & r46, sharpie pen other: washi and upcycled cardboard
The sentiment is from the Sweet Stamp Shop Hats set. I just used my trusty Sharpie pen to put the dot in the middle of the sentiments.
I've been accused by my boy that I have too much washi {is there really such a thing as 'too much'?}. So I knew I wanted to add a splash of it on this card and love the look of the black & gray on kraft.
Next up is my non-traditional use of the set and one of my favorites:
cardstock: stampin' up, strathmore watercolor stamps: sweet stamp shop dad's tool box/artsy fartsy ink: stazon, watercolors
Seriously, I cannot get enough of my watercolor paints. I spied that paintbrush in the Dad's Tool Box set and well, went artsy fartsy with it.
I love how the yellow made its way into the blue...makes the card 'real'...kwim?
I know that you've been seeing this set all over the Sweet Stamp Shop Facebook page and yes, it is over the top cute:
This fun set screams Boy to me. I was inspired by the Elle's Studio journal card (Thanks Trinh!), 100% Boy.
cardstock: PTI stamps: sweet stamp shop stinky skunk ink: Zing charcoal other: vellum, elle's studio journal card, misc mini clothespin
I just die cut a vellum circle and heat embossed the images....my new love is Charcoal Zing Embossing Powder...it packs a punch but isn't overpowering like black can sometimes be. See the stitching on the vellum, I stitched it with my sewing machine, following the faux stitching on the journal card, worked out perfectly.
Next up is my 'girly' version using Stinky Skunk:
cardstock: neenah paper: echo park splendid sunshine stamps: sweet stamp shop stinky skunk/speech bubbles & feeling today ink: stazon black, various copics other: vellum envelope, echo park splendid sunshine sticker
Pink, who wouldn't love a pink skunk teamed up on a shaker card?
The vellum envelope has Flat Matte Gold and Cotton Candy sequins.
Whew! Thanks for making it all the way down HERE...I'm super happy to be able to share a ✭✭COUPON Code✭✭
