I went clean & crisp on the sketch.
So, I thought I'd show you my photography studio:
I take a majority of my pictures on the kitchen table. It's actually one of the many special pieces of furniture to me. When my Mom & Dad bought their first home in Toronto, Ontario, {early 1960's} the owners left behind the kitchen table and some other pieces.
I set my cards on the corner of the table to photog. There's a sliding glass door to the left of the table so I get plenty of natural sunlight.
Prior to moving into the house, I use to take pictures on my front porch or in the photo tent. I'm not quite sure what I'll do in the winter months but for now, I'm enjoying the natural sunlight.
How about you? Have you figured out that sweet spot to take pictures?

Saskia :)
Yes, after taking literally hundreds of pictures in different spots around my house, I think I've finally figured out the few places that tend to work. And it definitely changes throughout the year. Winter is the hardest time, of course, because there's often not enough light...
Thanks always for the inspiration -

and how sweet it is to see where you take your pictures. What a great anecdote too ;)
Thank You~
Love your photo spot! My picture studio is my lanai ~ living in FL, anywhere outside is the BEST light. I have been known to take a photo or two late at night and that would be in my craft room~no light tent, so those pics are always poor :(
P/s: I take my photos at my bedroom window with two propped up foam boards.
Love the kitchen and all that natural light. I wish I had the natural light but mine is either no light or too bright light.
Great picture too!!!
