Hello! I'm sharing a project that focuses on Foil. My assignment was to also capture the Men in my life. I decided to design a project that is inspired by Darin.
Supplies: Paper (CN14SPO01, DN14OS10, DB14OS01)
Over a year ago, Darin started to build an airplane. What was on his bucket list has become a happy reality for him, something that I fully support him on. Darin's airplane will hopefully be completed next March. In the meantime, we have had the opportunity to borrow his friend's plane, so what was Darin's hobby of flying has quickly become mine also.
I know that my love of flying has made Darin happy. I'm thrilled to be able to share a hobby with him.
Have you had a chance to play with the foil paper? It really is a must! It die cuts and dry embosses wonderfully.
TIP: Adding foil accents can pack a punch in a design
I die cut the happy with the plaid seafoam paper. The airplane has been die cut with a grey plaid.
TIP: Tipping panels adds visual interest to card designs.
By placing the die cut journal card on top of the dry embossed foil panel it softens all the gold on the card.
I have another card featured on the Chickaniddy Crafts blog that highlights the Foil paper..check it out HERE.
What are some elements you love to use on masculine cards?
