Catered Crop Recipe Swap: Wish for everything

I was so excited to get a shout out over on the Catered Crop - Gratitude Attitude Recipe Swap.  I'm going to be part of the Quick Fire round in the current challenge

After reading THIS post by Linda, I gotta get Tina Fey's book but seriously, read her post as there are changes to the Catered Crop Recipe Swap.

Here's how I was inspired:

cardstock:  american crafts card set  stamps:  hero arts dolls, altenew/super script 2  ink:  hero arts hues, various acrylic paints   other:  stampin' up star mask, 3m washi, embossing paste

I've been having fun using book pages in my creative designs...see my first project HERE.   I've also been inspired by Karin's recent projects using the Hero Arts Japanese dolls.

I used a page out of a vintage Japanese book.  The pages are wafer thin....I laid down the washi, changed my mind but nope, that stuff wasn't going to peel up so I'm living with it:)

Big shout out to Linda at Catered Crop for all the fun!

I also managed to put together a set of 6 holiday cards:

cardstock:  american crafts card set  stamps:  aha arts/wreath set, reverse confetti/tinsel 'n trim  ink:  zing white

A super clean design...which I love....reminds me of letterpress.

The wreath is by Aha Arts, I picked up a couple sets from Paper Source in Oregon {no sales tax!}.  The sentiment is Reverse Confetti!

Thanks so much for stoppin' by!

I love the look of book paper, too, and OMGosh, this Japanese book print is amazing! I love your bold black sentiment and LOVE the little Japanese doll, too! The star paste background looks so cool. And I adore the simple, crisp letterpress design to your notecard set, also. WOW!

Japanese book pages - love it. And I was going to compliment you on the colorful diagonal strip (thought it was PP). Really makes the card come alive. Then chuckled when I read what really happened ;)

When I saw this card and that darling little girl, I thought to myself 'I bet thats what Amy looked like when she was little'. She is so adorable, I must see if I can find this set. I love the ancient paper you used, it looks so fine and dainty. And you know what, I think it wouldn't be the same without the colour pop of the washi, it really makes the card perfect!!
