I was so excited to get a shout out over on the Catered Crop - Gratitude Attitude Recipe Swap. I'm going to be part of the Quick Fire round in the current challenge
After reading THIS post by Linda, I gotta get Tina Fey's book but seriously, read her post as there are changes to the Catered Crop Recipe Swap.
Here's how I was inspired:
cardstock: american crafts card set stamps: hero arts dolls, altenew/super script 2 ink: hero arts hues, various acrylic paints other: stampin' up star mask, 3m washi, embossing paste
I've been having fun using book pages in my creative designs...see my first project HERE. I've also been inspired by Karin's recent projects using the Hero Arts Japanese dolls.
I used a page out of a vintage Japanese book. The pages are wafer thin....I laid down the washi, changed my mind but nope, that stuff wasn't going to peel up so I'm living with it:)
Big shout out to Linda at Catered Crop for all the fun!
I also managed to put together a set of 6 holiday cards:
cardstock: american crafts card set stamps: aha arts/wreath set, reverse confetti/tinsel 'n trim ink: zing white
A super clean design...which I love....reminds me of letterpress.
The wreath is by Aha Arts, I picked up a couple sets from Paper Source in Oregon {no sales tax!}. The sentiment is Reverse Confetti!
Thanks so much for stoppin' by!
