just looking in on you...

When we were in Japan, the kids spotted a couple sticker sets and a post card that were Alpaca themed.  (Click HERE for the differences between Alpacas and Llamas)  We tend to gravitate towards them because my cousin and her husband own several Alpacas.  That is exactly the reason why I bought Stampin' up's From the Herd {photopolymer} set.  Now as I look at that guy on the right, I wonder if he's a Llama?  HA...anyways, close enough :)  I was totally inspired by THIS...

cardstock:  stampin' up marina mist/daffodil delight  stamps:  stampin' up/from the herd  ink:  memento tuxedo, fresh ink charcoal, various copics  other:  spellbinders oval

Here are a couple older photos of the alpacas:

They have ultra long eyelashes!

The last time we saw those furry guys, they were literally staring at ME...licking their chops.  I think they were hungry and quite frankly, that made me a wee bit nervous.  Darin, of course, thought it was hilarious.

My design was inspired by

and the colors

I buy all my Stampin' Up supplies from Tonya!

Super cute! I love your fun take on the sketch, Amy!
Because of your SU! posts, I decided to order a SU! set -- it's an Easter set with some apple blossoms. However, I ordered a "clear" set thinking it was clear.... and it's the cling type! I haven't used it yet, because I really prefer actual clear stamps.....

Super fun card, Amy! The stamp image reminds me so much of the Sandra Boynton books I used to love as a kid.

Cute stickers, and a fun card, Amy! The llama/alpaca is a hoot, and that bird on the back of the buffalo cracks me up! Love the subtle coloring on all the critters and then the bright base and panel. You always come up with the most clever ideas! Love this card. And the real alpacas wouldn't bother me....nope. For me, it's chickens - ewwwwwwww! The only good chicken is the one that's on my grill, lol!!! Have a great weekend. Bev
