Shelly, I've messaged you!

 So yesterday was {inter}National Scrapbook Day...did you play along in challenges, do some shopping or craft up a storm?  I had some crafty girls over and we made some gorgeous cards compliments of the birthday girl, Kimberly (those will be coming to my blog soon}.  In true Kimberly form, she gave me some goodies and this awesome card:


PERFECT for me...I love it Kimberly!

It's been really lovely here in the Pacific Northwest...last night the boy & I went for a walk on a local trail.  I'm lucky to live in a community where that has several trails and parks.


If you've been following me for a while....you know that my boy is a high school senior.  We recently paid his college tuition deposit...yes, he's made his decision.  With 5 amazing choices, he's decided to go to school in New York City/Manhattan.  I'm super excited for him and know that it's a perfect fit.  I'm going to miss him horribly, I miss my girl and she's in the same state!   I'm super grateful for my kids...they make me laugh, they are self motivated and are just plain awesome♡

Congratulations on our son, Amy. I am not looking forward to Charlotte going away and am glad that it is three years before I have to worry about it. NYC is a great place to go to school too.

What wonderful weather the last few days!...Awwww I teared up seeing this Oh so happy boy with his mama on the trail, beaming in the selfie...and then reading he will be so far away.....well..there will be lots of messaging, calls.. amd mama emergency home packages.!!!

Oh, what an amazing photo of you and your boy, Amy! I'm so happy for him for the wonderful opportunity he has to go to college in NY... although I know how hard that will be on you! It's a blessing to see your kids grow and blossom, but it's bittersweet, too. I wish I could make them stay little forever! :)
