hello.

I've been on an ice cream kick...both consuming and creating

cardstock:  hero arts mixed blush paper:  crate/poolside  other:  crate poolside ephemera pack, pebbles glitter tape.

The Crate Poolside collection is new to me....I took a Kelly Purkey class at Impress on Saturday and we had the collection to work with with it...for Christmas cards....more on that in a bit.  Don't you love that background panel...are they ice cream cones or snow cones <--- either is good:)  See that smidge of glitz in the middle of the bloom?  I had a bit of glitter tape leftover from an earlier project and decided to pop it on there.

My card was inspired by:

So on Saturday, I took a card class at Impress taught by Kelly Purkey.  She taught an earlier mini album class that Kimberly and Kate both took so I made sure to get there a smidge early to chit-chat.

Okay, Kelly Purkey is the cutest!  What a sweet person and so talented.  I had a ton of fun in the class and LOVE her new holiday release!

Here's one of the cards that we made....I did my own twist on it but isn't that yeti adorable?!

This is a busy week for me as we prep for a bridal shower that the girl is hostessing at the house.  Since the bride-to-be is gluten free, we've decided to have a fully gluten-free menu for the afternoon.  It's all about the lovely bride-to-be!  Decorations are from Paper Source (cha-ching but it is going to be lovely).
