with sympathy.

Hello again.  I don't generally post 2 cards in a day if I can help it but I decided to play along with Mojo Monday.

paper:  teresa collins/memorabilia  stamps:  verve/kind words  ink:  stampin' up white embossing powder, fresh ink charcoal

A dear friend of my Mom's recently passed away at 90 years old.  She was fighting cancer.  My Mom is pretty traditional so I'm hoping that she isn't going to think this is too wild.  Honestly, I don't like to use blacks/grey for sympathy cards... I used Verve's Kind Words stamp set.  To make the panels work for the bloom image, the size has been trimmed down to 5 x 3.5.  I like that size!

I was inspired by Mojo Monday:

I posted this pic on IG earlier today:

I was able to create 10 cards today.  I've been having fun with my Hero Arts Ombre Ink pads!  My new favorite is Lime to Forever Green!  I could have easily whip together more but the kids wanted to hang out at the coffee shop with me....how could I say no?

One of my favorite Verve sets. Gorgeous use of colours and the sketch. Ten cards in a day - would be a miracle for me LOL! You go girl :)
