MFT Challenge and Inspiration: Birthdays Rock

Hello!  So excited to tell you that I've been the March Guest for the MFT Challenge & Inspirationsketch features!  If you've been following me for awhile, you know how much I love sketches!

I'm super sad that this is my last Guestie post but I'm so grateful for my month of creating!  It's been so much fun, check out this week's sketch:

Here's how I was inspired:

The Birdie Brown Strike Up The Band set is soooooo cute!  One of the girl's friends will be celebrating her Birthday in May AND she's part of the University of Washington Marching Band...how perfect is this?

Psssttt...I'm trying to embrace the color purple.  I don't generally use it in my designs but when I do, I think, "That's not bad!".  If you haven't noticed, I generally tend to gravitate to green.

The Die-Namics Cross Stitched Circle STAX is a fun way to make that sweet bunny be the star of the show!

BB Strike Up The Band

Die-namics Cross Stitched Circle STAX

I can't wait to see how the MFT Design Team was inspired by the sketch...make sure you check it out HERE.

Our middle daughter has purple everything. Sometimes it makes me crazy and because she loves it so much, I tend not to use it often. Your use here is not too much, not too little. It's good to get out of our comfy zones now and again. And here is the perfect example of sweetness and purple! Well done you. Bev

I only know one designer that always works with purple, and she's so good at making it look deliciously enticing, but I have such trouble with it. It really compliments these darling images, though, love. Perfectly precious!
