Hero Arts: Wishing you a lovely day

I played with the Hero Arts Coloring Layering Peacock set.    Check out all that purple I used💜

I've been steadily warming up to purple, have you noticed that?  One of my favorite ways to incorporate purple is with the use of the Ombre' Hydrangea ink.  Here's how I used the different inks:

Solid body = Ombre' Hydrangea
Outline body = Grape Juice
Solid feathers = Soft Lilac
Outline feathers = Grape Juice
Circle Detail feathers = Navy

The background started with a Lilac panel from the Floral Mix Layering Papers.  I masked it off with strips of washi and then used the Peacock Feather Stencil along with Grape Juice Shadow Ink.  The sentiment is from the Color Layering Peacock set and has been heat embossed in white on a strip of vellum.  The panel has been trimmed down to 5.25 x 4.0 inches and adhered to an A2 Aubergine panel.

My card was inspired by CAS(E) this sketch!

Beautiful, Amy!! Love the masked stripes and the purple-liciousness of your card - you really warmed up to it (and then some). :) The peacock is so elegant and the white heat embossed sentiment really finishes it off beautifully.
