I'm so excited for this month's kit and additional add-ons. I'm a huge fan of nautical theme products! Here's my hop project:
I wanted that sweet mermaid to be the star of the show so I went super clean + crisp. Starting from the bottom and working to the top of the card I trimmed down a panel from the Lightweight Ice Blue Paper from the Main Kit. Taking a panel of watercolor paper from my stash I stamped and die cut a mermaid from the Main Kit. I colored her with Zig Clean Color markers.
I cut a panel from watercolor paper and watercolored a pool of water using my peerless watercolors. I stamped the sentiment from the additional add-on, CM174 Mer-mazing Messages. I added my watercolored die cut mermaid to the panel with a foam adhesive square.
In case you missed my Countdown to Creativity project on the Hero Arts blog on Friday, here's another card that I shared that uses the Main Kit and an optional add-on:
I simply ADORE the optional add-on, DI385 Reef Border and Frame Fancy Dies. It has an amazing amount of detail, don't you agree? The watercolored background just makes the white pop. I added the oyster and sentiment from the Main Kit.
That's it from me...next up is the amazing Lydia Fiedler. In case you get lost along the way, here's the entire hop listing:

gorgeous! What an amazing kit. I'd order it in a heartbeat, but, alas, the exchange rate is a deal
breaker. Drat! But, there is always the hope of winning. :)
the die cut. Beautiful.
the simple mermaid card is wonderful.
You don't always need a lot of fluff
to have a great card.
thanks for sharing.
I have been looking for the perfect mermaid stamps FOR YEARS! These are the perfect mermaid stamps, I am in love and desperate to have this set!!! I waited 24 hours too long to order because I stupidly promised my husband that I wouldn't order anything new until we sold our house and now I am so sad because they are all gone.
Hugs~c
I am sooooo subscribing to these kits! Call me 'convinced' *grin*
