Have you seen the gorgeous New Day Card kit?!
I could literally create for days with this kit. I managed to make 3 cards for today's hop and didn't even make a dent in all the supplies!
I had so much fun, first up is a card that uses some of the images from the stamp set:
If you didn't know it already, green is my favorite. I certainly gravitated to that gorgeous striped paper from the 6x6 paper pad. See that frame? Oh my, it's absolutely gorgeous and just filled with such lovely details. I stamped the bloom in a couple different shades of ink to come up with my own custom color. The mixed font sentiment is perfect-o!
I used my Distress Oxides to color in those blooms! Super happy that the paper didn't warp at all! I can't stay away from that beautiful frame die! This time I die cut it in black and mounted all the layers on a black note card. The sentiment is from the kit's stamp set. A little bit of a watercolored background to coordinate with the blooms.
My final card has no stamping!
I used that awesome wood veneer and puffy letters from the kit and *boom* the card was done!
