Stay Cozy | Color Throwdown Designer

Hello!  I'm super excited to be the December Guest Designer for the Color Throwdown!  If you've been following me for any amount of time, you know that I LOVE this challenge.  Check out this week's awesome color challenge:

Here's how I was inspired:

I'm shaking things up with some sets from Ellen Hutson LLC!  I started off with the Alpine Window by Julie Ebersole for Essentials by Ellen.  I love that the images can easily be layered.  I decided to just color the trees and add a bit of gold glitter cardstock to back the windows of the cabin.

I first started off with my Iced Aqua panel and die cut the circle.  I adhered a panel of acetate behind it and then layered my Alpine Window panels.  I should have then stamped my sentiment but got carried away with my foam adhesive and shaker contents.

I knew better than to try to either peel off all the foam adhesive on the back or to try to even think of stamping my sentiment directly on the Iced Aqua panel.  So I ended up finishing off my card with the Stay Cozy sentiment heat embossed in gold on a white strip!  It is from the Over the River by Julie Ebersole for Essentials by Ellen.

The Gray Muse | Guest Designer

I'm super excited to be guesting over on The Gray Muse blog!  I'm sharing four projects over there!  Here's a sneak peek of one of them:

I inked up the ADORABLE Dogs in the Craft Room Stamp Set:

I had so much fun with this super sweet set.  I'm a huge dog fan and seriously one of my favorites are Corgis!  I went super clean and simple for most of these cards to really make those pups be the star of the show.

I had to do a caffeinated spin on one of the cards.  Look at that cute Craft Assistant!  I'm not sure if she's claiming to be the Craft Assistant or if the coffee gift card inside is the real Craft Assistant [wink]. 

I used the same copic color palette for all my designs:

Fall is in the air | Color Throwdown - Guest Star Stamper

So I was the Color Throwdown's Featured Stamper  #565!  That means I'm the Guest Star Stamper for this week's challenge:   

I thought the color palette would be a wonderful fall themed design so I inked up the Reverse Confetti Fall Foliage set.

My copic colors translate to Reverse Confetti Colors:

Rust  |  Olive  |  RC Aqua  |  Navy Blue

I stamped out all the leaves plus a couple more and colored them up.

My copic colors:

I adhered them randomly on an A2 Premier Polar White panel.  I framed it with the largest frame from the Stitched Note & Frames set.  I thought I was going to make this a great postal friendly design but ended up adhering the frame with foam tape.  The sentiment was stamped out and trimmed down.

I can't wait to see what the Color Throwdown team shares.  Honestly, this is one of my favorite card challenges.  I'm always so thoroughly inspired.  CHECK OUT all the cards I've designed.

I'm super excited to be a part of Miss Ink Stamps' September Sneak Peeks.  Today we're featuring the Thankful stamp set.  I LOVE this set so much!

It's been stamped and colored with Copic Markers.  The background is the Miss Ink Stamps Stripes Stencil with Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide Ink.

I'm loving the contrast between the orange and blue.

Latte Happy Vibes | Guest Designer - Your Next Stamp

I'm so excited to be a guest designer today for Your Next Stamp.  They're celebrating 10 years and I'm honored to be a part of the festivities.

I'm a lucky crafter that got to play with the new Latte Happy Vibes set:

Yeah, I had so much fun with the stamps.  I used The Perfect Blend 6x6.  I adore the color palette in that paper pad so I coordinated my copics to match.

This card trio actually came together quickly since I worked with one color palette, one stamp set and one paper pad.

Who can resist coffee + donuts?  It's such a cute stamp set!

Their facial expressions are fabulous, aren't they?!  

The new release will be available in the Your Next Stamp store on September 12th at 11 est.
