Hero Arts: Be The Change + Hero News

Hello!  I'm up on the Hero Arts blog with a project that features the G6287 Be The Change stamp.  Please make sure you make it down to the bottom of my post for some Hero Arts News.

Here's a peek at my project:

I do have a duo using the same stamp but in a different design:

I love color and couldn't wait to combine colors from the Sunshine and Pool Mix Layering Paper packs.

I wanted to find a serene background and thought the S6144 Wave Pattern Background would be perfect, what do you think?

I don't know about you but all the things that have been happening lately has me wondering how I might be able to make a change.

In May I volunteered in a fabulous 2nd grade classroom.  I assure you, my kids are in their 20's.  It is D's daughter's classroom that she teaches.  I had so much fun at the Seattle Science Center.

This month I will be participating in a walk to benefit a local food bank.  It's one that I've been wanting to walk in for awhile, I'm so glad that my daughter and friend will be joining me.

My goal is to do community service/fundraising once a month and eventually adding more time to it.

I will be wrapping up my Hero Arts Design Team work this week.  I will have another post tomorrow but thought this would be a better post for me to share my news.  It will have been three years in September.  I still remember when Libby contacted me, pretty sure I told her to shut up...LOL.

That's us teaching a Hero Arts class at the local Impress shop.  How grateful am I to have been able to be on the Hero Arts Creative Team?!   I joined the team August 2015 and have learned so much, had the opportunity to work tradeshows, teach classes...a designer's dream come true!  If you haven't seen my earlier posts, I've stepped down from almost half my teams because my DT plate has been full for awhile and I just need to strike a balance in my life.  I'll share my Hero Favs on Saturday, this post is already photo heavy.

That's it for me, remember to pop over to the Hero Arts blog for more details on my project!

Totally understand you wanting to find more of a balance going forward. I know how much Hero Arts is going to miss you, but I'm so happy for you that you are following your heart!

Amy... those are amazing and fabulous CAS cards. I love how you use the quote stamp as vocal point of your cards. I also love the backgrounds.
