Hello! Today is the 8th of the month which means it's time for the Reverse Confetti Creative Hop! You should have arrived here from my teamie, Heather Hoffman. If not, you'll want to start at the beginning of the hop which is the Reverse Confetti blog!
Today I'm sharing a gift card sleeve. I've been seeing different variations on social media and wanted to give it a go.
My Step Daughter is bringing her boyfriend for Christmas. He's a nice techie that works for Amazon. What better gift than an Amazon Gift Card, right? My design is all around the gift card. I started off with a panel of Midnight cardstock just a smidge bigger than the gift card.
The black polka panel is from the Fright Night 6x6 paper pad. I cut it a bit bigger than the Midnight panel on three of the sides and scored them to adhere to the black panel.
Before adhering the pattern panel I trimmed off a bit on the diagonal. I used scor-tape on the sides that needing to be adhered down.
The Step Daughter and Boyfriend own two cats, hence the little scenery I designed. I used the following stamps + coordinating confetti cuts:
Furever Friends
Too Cute to Spook
Christmas Bear
S'more Love
All the images have been colored with copic markers in a fairly serene color palette except for their hats. I wanted to give it a festive look.
We have a Year to Remember as a theme and we're to post our top 3 favorite projects:
